Airport food, not anything to get excited about, ever, at least in my experience.

In Hamburg airport they have an elevated eating area though so you are away from the maddening crowd and are only around people who are looking to sit with some food and a drink. It is still a pretty sterile environment, lacking in character in a way that Schwarzenegger lacks the very same thing in almost every film he stars in.

However, like a lot of Schwarzenegger films, San Pino was quite enjoyable, in spite of the cards it has been dealt. The muscle flexing most definitely comes in the guise of their gourmet pizzas. Strange and wonderful combinations that are cooked fresh (they take a while) and are, in fact, very tasty.

The ludicrously stocked arsenal comes in the form of the wine selection. I can't tell you if they are all good, but there is an impressive array of bottles on offer, and by the glass too!

The semi-witty one liner delivered by a buzzing electronic box that tells you that your food has been cooked and you now have to go collect it yourself.

Overall, entertaining, not an award winner, never likely to be in light of the cast and the location, but as the Austrian Muscle Man himself reliably let's the audience know...."I'll be back"...

This may very well be one of the best food experience at the airport that I've had so far. I had a large tomato/mozzarella pizza. It's made from fresh dough and baked in a real baker's oven. It was properly cooked and pleasant to eat. While the tomatoes were underripe and a little bit blend, the pizza was pleasant to eat. I'll be back.
